The public is invited to Memorial Day services for our fallen veterans at the CRIT Cemetery at 8:30 Monday morning, May 27, and at the Parker Cemetery at 10:30, brought to you by Fremont Sharp American legion Post 70 and VFW Post 7061.

Boating Safety Education

courses are monthly through September at the Mohave County Library. $5 per family. This National Association of State Boating Law Administrators-approved course includes general nautical information, equipment requirements, boating laws and regulations, and more. The Parker Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help with their annual fundraiser – The Parker Tube Float – a long-time tradition for River Rats! For more information on volunteering for this epic event call 669-2174.

Sign up for babysitting and home safety seminars by the Lake Havasu City Fire Department. All 5^th through 12^th grade students are invited to attend 4-day classes in June and July. Registration by a parent is Monday through Friday, May 20 to 24, from 8 to 4 at City Hall. $30. For questions, call Kathy Black at 855-3609.
